Igudesman & Joo: Scary Concert At Heinz Hall says
Outlandish, ghoulish, hilarious and prodigiously talented, violinist Aleksey Igudesman and pianist Hyung-Ki Joo are the wildly inventive comedy team whose YouTube sketches and musical mash ups have attracted close to 40 million viewers. Igudesman & Joo hilariously waltz their way from Mozart to martial arts, Haydn to hip hop with their unique wit, sensibilities and improvisational skills. Anything can and usually does happen to the delight of enthusiastic fans worldwide.

Igudesman & Joo bring a whirlwind of humor and virtuosity, putting their unique spin on classics like Danse Macabre and Ride of the Valkyries, as well as their own hilarious compositions for Scary Concert. Complete with make-up and costumes (and that means for the audience too!), “scary” good music has never been more side-splitting.

The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and its audiences are in for a very special Halloween celebration.

Come in costume and start off your Halloween evening in style. A costume contest will be judged by Igudesman & Joo themselves!
