This month Jacknife features "4U Social" comprised of DJ Mate Masie (Russell "Ironman" Campbell) and Sly Wonder!

"Russell “DJ Mate Masie “Campbell (Born August 12, 1983 in Silver Spring, Maryland, United States) started spinning Records in 2000 also has been listening and playing musical instruments since childhood coming up in his fathers’ collection of records in the basement. He played instruments like Drums, Saxophone, Guitar, Piano, Bassoon, congas and other processional instruments to keep the rhythm going. He specializes in spinning House, Funk, Soul, Hip Hop, Baltimore Club music many genres of music in between. In the beginning he started playing house parties, social events and Go-Go’s with his crew Counter Attack Breakers.

As DJ Mate Masie he has played at many premiere DC venues such as Eighteenth Street Lounge with Sam “The Man” Burns, Tropicalia, U St. Music Hall, Flash, Black Cat and internationally in Sofia, Bulgaria in 2010. Dj Mate Masie has held residencies at Sky Lounge (Baltimore) and Modern (Georgetown, DC) and Jimmy Valentines. He was featured as a DJ on WPFW 89.3 spinning House music to the masses."

"Sly Wonder got his name from his child hood friends for his obsession with Sly Stone and Stevie Wonder. He is the son of a former New York disc jockey and radio producer who grew up in era of roller skating rink and parties that include Hip Hop, Fink, Disco and House club culture. In the beginning he used to make mix tapes to sell in high school and colleges local. His goal is it inspire people to thinking outside of the box in mainstream and underground music culture and communities."
Together, DJ Mate Masie and Sly Wonder are 4U Social.
From the respect of music, culture and community DJ Mate Masie And Sly Wonder Came together to host a monthly party called 4U Social, currently featured in Black Cat. 4U Social is a dance party for the passionate enthusiasts of dance music culture. This event allows the community to come together and celebrate the gift of music, friendship and inspire all kinds of people with a like mind.
