The ToonSeum says
Ka-Blam! is back!

The annual ToonSeum “party of the year” fundraiser returns on Saturday, April 25, 2015, at the Teamsters Temple Banquet Hall in Lawrenceville. Help support Pittsburgh’s museum of the cartoon and comic arts while paying tribute to many of the Steel City natives and residents who add “character” to our hometown! Pittsburgh has often been cited as one of the most lively and livable places on the planet, and one of the major reasons is the multitude of people who call the Steel City home. The ToonSeum will honor these “Pittsburghers of Character” throughout the evening—including a few who are sadly no longer with us, such as Art Rooney Sr., August Wilson, Mr. Rogers, Myron Cope and Sophie Masloff. Many more are alive and well and will no doubt also be on hand at the Teamsters Temple as we party the night away in tribute and celebration!

Ka-Blam will run from 8pm to 11pm on Saturday, April 25th, with a special VIP reception scheduled beforehand from 7pm to 8pm. VIP tickets are $75 each or $125 per couple, while regular admittance is $40. Free music and beverages will be available, courtesy of some of the finest restaurants in the Lawrenceville and downtown areas, while our special DJ guests will spin music throughout the night. A silent auction, caricature artists, and appearances by Ka-Blam! Honorary Chairman Rick Sebak and YouTube sensation Pittsburgh Dad—as well as a few additional surprises—round out the activities.

Get your tickets now on Eventbrite! And don’t forget to click on “Going” in order to keep informed of all the Pittsburgh Characters who will be both honored and attending this year’s Ka-Blam!
