Join us for the first installment of the monthly live music yoga class at James Street! Every month a new local instructor will host alongside different musicians. The talented CJ Hoffman (of Sweet Earth) will bring his signature sonic blend of ambient and atmospheric music to the inaugural event. Lauren Shaffer will be the yoga instructor to help you find your center for this first class, teaching vinyasa flow.

Doors for the noon class: 11:30 AM
Doors for the 1:30 class: 1:00

All levels from beginner to advanced are welcome! The class is free of charge but we do ask for a $5 - $10 donation to cover costs. You can reserve your space by purchasing a ticket in advanced here: https://livemusicyoga.ticketleap.com/lmy/dates

Once you’ve found your center feel free to stick around and make the perfect Sunday out of it. Join us downstairs and enjoy James Street’s new brunch menu, as well as a $5 Bloody Mary and Mimosa special at the bar, and friends old and new!

About CJ Hoffman:
Christian Hoffman, a founding member of the PGH based prog/jam fusion act Sweet Earth, has been recording and performing music for over ten years. He has toured with Sweet Earth across the East and West coasts performing at festivals such as the Werk Out, Rootwire, Domefest, Summerdance, and more. He has released three albums with Sweet Earth, two of his own ambient albums "safe passage" and "amalgam," and is currently finishing work on an electronic project "Eclectric," set to release in late spring. About Lauren Shaffer:
Lauren is a 200 hour certified RYS. She teaches a high energy vinyasa flow class at Bend Yoga, Rivers Club and the Westin hotel. As a teacher, Lauren aims to promote physical and mental balance and challenges to her students. Her vinyasa flow classes start off with a vigorous flow to get the heart pumping and then slow down to longer holds to get deeper into the joints and connective tissue.
