About May’s Musical Guest:
Anthony Pecora is a musician and artist that fronts the collective “When The Planets”, an extremely diverse and fluid project that explores a wide breadth of musical and visual palettes. He has played with many notable acts in his 18 years as a member of the Pittsburgh music scene including Mandrake Project, The Boogie Hustlers, and Sporadic (who have recently re-kindled their eclectic musical doings after 14 years of “down time”). Inspired by artists in the vein of Robert Rich, Daniel Lanois, Bonobo, and Steve Reich; he has set out to explore ambient textures and ethereal improvisations/compositions. His creative visions have been showcased at Most Wanted Fine Arts, with the super-group Silencio at The Rex Theater, and at various yoga events throughout the city. Anthony will provide a soundtrack for the 2nd installment of “Live Yoga Music” that will move along with the class while cycling through various levels of intensity using lush instrumentation and driving rhythms.
