Longitude | Ardent Harvest Maria Bevilacqua says
“The illusions of time and space and matter are just that, illusions. Maria’s images capture energy in motion like observing particles in quantum physics, only seen in the moment of observation. Her images appear to capture Consciousness itself, a moment of energetic light revealing our connectedness with life around us. The infinite possibilities winking into reality, capturing and revealing its essence-captured frame by frame, becoming. Imagining each moment anew eternally connected, changing perspectives revealing its gifts. This process reveals life’s unfolding in an orderly fashion, invisible to us except in the moment.”

Maria is looking for space, a destination to frame. The known coordinates are of no use to us because Maria reveals what isn’t viewable, those moments between the frames. The light and colors creating a multi-dimensional place.

Artist Statement

This body of work continues the internal conversation revealing my desires and the search for where I belong. Each image presents itself as a conversation and acts as a response to my own personal experiences. This fragmentation of the visual plane into disparate elements acts as a visual journal entry, with each entry offering multiple possibilities for transformation. The point of view is outward, but the larger conversation lives in the deepest part of my subconscious and reflects and records my memory, personal growth and time.
