Gregory Garay : Café Con Leche Latino Resident Artist
April and May 2016

Gregory Garay is a creative entrepreneur seeking to highlight the gaps and connections between people, objects of the past and the many thoughts shared between the two. Garay was born in Brooklyn, raised in The Bronx, and transplanted to Pittsburgh. Garay’s works bridge the gaps between the moments of compiling ideals and the burst of memories from life experiences into comprehensive imagery. The items produced are digital and traditional paintings, as well as illustrations for comic books and children’s books.

The Cafe Con Leche Latino Resident Artist program at MWFA is possible with support from The Heinz Endowments Small Arts Initiative and Port Authority of Allegheny County.
