Artist Statement:

Ben’s work investigates the human condition in post-industrial society. Through sculptural works and multimedia installations, Ben explores the impact of the complexity of global economics, the proliferation of information technology, and the pervasiveness of mass-production on contemporary culture. His work asks viewers to speculate on the relationship between their lifestyle and manufactured habitat. Ben grew up in Philadelphia, PA and Trier, Germany. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, he spent time working in both the U.S. and Switzerland.
