Founded by Liz Berlin of the multi-platinum band Rusted Root, REAL LIFE MUSIC CAMP provides aspiring artists with the no-nonsense knowledge and mentorship needed to navigate the perils of the music industry. We focus on the creation of original music and career preparation with workshops that extend beyond traditional musicianship such as concert booking, band dynamics, marketing, and web presence management. Upon completion, all participants will receive a professionally recorded demo of their own original music, professional band photo, comprehensive bio, and a wealth of printed resources to help guide them in their careers.

For students drawn to the technical end of the business, REAL LIFE STUDIO CAMP delivers hands-on experience with state-of-the art recording technology at Mr. Smalls Recording Studio. Headed by industry veteran Larry Luther whose production credits range from punk rockers Anti-Flag to rap juggernaut 50 Cent, the curriculum is as insightful as it is practical.

• Record in Pittsburgh’s most professional studio!
• Rock your best look for your band photo shoot!
• Perform live on stage by the end of the week!
