Rita Coolidge: 40th Anniversary Spring Benefit Concert says
Celebrate Calliope's 40th Anniversary with an evening featuring ledgendary chanteuse Rita Coolidge and her band.

Rita’s credentials are the stuff of legend. Since being signed to A&M Records in 1971, she has released more than a dozen albums including 1978’s multi-platinum “Anytime… Anywhere.” Several of her singles have become classics, among them “We’re All Alone,” “Higher And Higher,” “The Way You Do The Things You Do,” and “All Time High” (theme song for the James Bond thriller “Octopussy”). She’s performed with high-profile pals like George Harrison, Robbie Robertson, Jimmy Buffett and former husband Kris Kristofferson. In the 1990s, her place in popular music secured, Rita began devoting herself to other concerns, her Cherokee heritage inspiring involvement in projects that call attention to Native American music, culture, and issues. This year also saw the release of Rita's memoir, “Delta Lady.” Today, Rita Coolidge's impact is undiminished – her voice as pure, sweet and powerful as ever and her ability to get inside a song honed by experience and overview.

This is Calliope's 40th Anniversary Spring Benefit concert. VIP tickets include best seats and a post-concert reception with special guests Rita Coolidge and her band. Refreshments provided.
