The Frick Pittsburgh says
Offering four absorbing reads recommended and “curated” by Clayton docents, the Frick’s newest program series delves into a collection of books with thought-provoking connections to the Frick family legacy. Taking up the themes explored in the The Frick Art Museum exhibition, The Frick Collects: From Rubens to Monet, docent-led discussions over light refreshments consider the motivations that drive some people to collect over other pursuits and the many ways those collectors go about amassing, sharing, adoring, or disregarding their treasures. Each session focuses on a different book.

Book to be discussed — Empty Mansions: The Mysterious Life of Huguette Clark and the Spending of a Great American Fortune

$10 per session. Books not included. Advance registration and pre-payment required. Register online or call 412-371-0600.
