TITLE TOWN returns to the Ace Hotel Pittsburgh on Friday, April 8th.

Every second Friday of the month, at the Ace Hotel Pittsburgh, we transition a three-story gym into one of the best clubs in the city – jam-packed with rare and classic soul, deep funk, vintage R&B, disco, and boogie – it’s five hours of underground classics taking you back to the earliest days of Motown to the heady years of the disco era.

Complete with an original wooden dance floor, an unbeatable sound system, and plenty of space to get down, The Gym at the Ace Hotel is reminiscent of the glory days of the England’s northern soul all-nighters, the Wigan Casino, and the packed dance halls of Western PA. Needless to say, it’s one of the most unique dance floors in the city.

Let’s drink and dance it off under the disco ball. That’s what we do.

Early arrival is recommended.

ABOUT TITLE TOWN Soul & Funk Party
Inspired by Pittsburgh’s rich record culture, resident co-creators, J. Malls & Gordy G. have been making bodies move since 2009. TITLE TOWN is a high-octane, all 45 RPM, soul and funk-fueled get down.

TITLE TOWN upholds Pittsburgh’s historic DJ legacy by blending an appreciation of classic and seldom-heard sounds from decades past – namely Northern Soul, funk, disco and vintage rhythm & blues – with a contemporary edge, turned all the way up.

The DJ duo navigates genres and eras, blending the best of labels such as Motown, Stax, and Chess with hand-picked rarities from regional soul scenes around the country - creating a feel-good dance floor frenzy among dedicated party goers.

Ace Hotel Pittsburgh hangs its hat in the heart of East Liberty, pumping our heartswork into the city that built the American Century. We are creating a place not just in the neighborhood, but for the neighborhood, pulling on the heritage of YMCA and the building itself. A public place that causes buildings in the area to become rooms, streets to become hallways. Whether it's screening home team games, movie nights, family sports & activities, robotics demonstrations, video art galleries or just large outdoor games, we will work with the community and provide a warm and inviting space for both guests from around the globe and those who live just down the block.
