Unleashed Emotion

Texture's presentation of "Unleashed Emotion" explores joy, desire, passion and rebirth in this exciting show of both old and new works by choreographers Alan Obuzor and Kelsey Bartman. The theme of rebirth will be shown in Bartman's new ballet, using the music of Olafur Arnalds, Patrick Wolfe, Ludovico Einaudi and others. Obuzor, inspired by the music of late artist Eva Cassidy, will present a new piece sure to stir feelings in all who watch it. Two past pas de deuxs will return to the stage, one being "Hydroplaning Flower," last performed two years ago. Also, "Another Story," depicting the journey of how a relationship became broken. Finally, "Jabber Bubble" will be danced as an expanded work by Bartman and Obuzor working together.
