Who is Vanic?
Vanic’s buzz began almost three years ago after releasing a remix of Taylor Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble” on SoundCloud, which instantly became a hit. From that moment, the momentum began. After the release of the critically-acclaimed “Circles,” Vanic truly settled into his trap-pop sound. EDM-lovers began to take notice of his melodic production style, leading to the millions of streams on any given remix (for a total over 80M Soundcloud streams) and the 270K+ SoundCloud followers he has today. Now, with over twenty-one Hype Machine #1’s, each new mix is released to a near viral reaction.
After inking a deal with Disruptor Records and announcing a fall tour in early 2016, Vanic began exploring original productions. In the first half of 2016, he made the leap from SoundCloud producer to successful touring act alongside Adventure Club, with dates across Canada. This summer, Vanic turned his attention to the festival circuit, spreading vibes at Coachella, Sunset, Moonrise and Firefly Music Festival. Vanic’s live set incites a deep emotional connection with the audience, so much so, that it inspired a proposal during his set at this year’s Moonrise Festival. Vanic’s fall tour, which kicked-off at Electric Zoo and Fashion Meets Music Festival over Labor Day weekend, will take him to twenty-five markets across the U.S., through December.
