The challenges we are facing as a global society are complex, terrifying, and unprecidented. But they are ultimately just that- challenges- and we can and must rise to meet them. It's time we got together, to consult for our common good.

Over potluck dinner at Irving Park, 6 consecutive nights in a row, we will systematically identify our personal and shared goals, identify the barriers we see to those goals, generate potential strategies for overcoming those barriers, and then re-frame those barriers as challenges. Then we will pose our challenges to the community at large. On the final night, Sunday, anyone will able invited to pitch action plans to the the community to raise community support of time, resources, and money, and make commitments on tangible, actionable projects that can be completed by next month.

GENERAL NIGHTLY SCHEDULE:
5-6pm Gather in upper field
6-7pm- Small group discussions on nighly theme (8 people)
7-8pm- Mingling and Eating!
8-9pm- Group Open-Mic
9:30pm- Announcements and closing

Each night will have a specific theme, each building on the other, to create a list of visions, barriers, strategies, and finally, challenges.

Wednesday, Sept 6, 5-10pm - Barriers
Thursday, Sept 6, 5-10pm - Strategies
Friday, Sept 6, 5-10pm - Challenges
Saturday, Sept 6, 5-10pm - Scheming
Sunday, Sept 6, 5-10pm - Pitches and Commitments

Things to bring:
-Blankets and chairs for picnic style dinner
-A dish or food to share
-An FM radio, or a portable boombox
-Musical Instruments, poetry, and real-talk.
