When musicians and longtime friends Porter Robinson and Madeon surprise-dropped their joint single “Shelter” and announced a joint North American Tour last month, fans and critics alike rejoiced.

Dubbed "silky electro pop" by Rolling Stone, and “a glitchy pop anthem” by FADER, the new single was hailed by MTV as “a welcome bit of unencumbered joy”. Billboard proclaimed “‘Shelter’ is luscious. It gushes perfection”.

Riding a wave of critical praise and fever-pitch online buzz driven by the duo’s fanbase, the shimmering electronic-pop single shot to #1 on Spotify’s Viral Chart (Global and U.S.), #1 on HypeM, and has since been streamed more than 10 Million times over the course of four weeks.

As the track’s stream count rose, so did ticket sales. Multiple dates sold out almost immediately, including two nights at San Francisco’s Bill Graham Auditorium, two nights in Los Angeles (Microsoft Theater & Shrine Auditorium, respectively), Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom, DC’s Echostage, and the tour’s opening night at The Tabernacle in Atlanta.

With more than 70K tickets sold in one month, Porter and Madeon have announced additional tour dates including The Theater at Madison Square Garden in NYC, a 3rd LA show at The Shrine Auditorium, Boston’s Orpheum Theatre, Seattle’s WaMu Theater, and more.

The 30+ date upcoming tour will see Porter and Madeon share the stage for a collaborative live performance that dazzles both sonically and visually. The live show will combine the best of their individual catalogues into one interactive performance that fuses emotion, live instrumentation, visual artistry and cutting edge technology. Fans will get to hear old favorites, newly reworked cuts from Worlds and Adventure, a few surprises, and of course a live delivery of “Shelter.”

Tickets will go on sale Friday, September 16 at 10 a.m. Ticket price is $35. Price does not include service charges. Tickets can be purchased from Ticketmaster at www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets can also be purchased at the Rose Quarter Box Office (M-F, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.), by calling 800.745.3000 or online at www.rosequarter.com.
