Portland Bellydance Guild says
The Portland Bellydance Guild is pleased to host a critical thinking and discussion session about cultural appropriation presented by PCC Professor of Sociology, Lisa George.

We want to start sowing the seeds to have solid and informed discussions within our community about ethical fusion and cultural appropriation, from a positive and toolbox-building standpoint. We're looking to start laying the foundation for constructive, ongoing, and anthropologically/historically-savvy awareness campaign that we can all join in on in this art form that we all love.

This event is free for Portland Bellydance Guild members, and $10 for non-members (at the door).

At the Central Library,
801 SW 10th Avenue in downtown Portland
Central Library MAX stop, or the Smart Park garage at 10th and Yamhill
