Robert Huffman: A Celebration Of His Life says
We here at The Portland Ballet have begun to assimilate the great shock of Robert Huffman's brief illness and his passing on January 16, 2016. We recognize that Robert's large circle of friends, family, and colleagues are similarly engaged in what will no doubt be an extended period of mourning.

In that regard, we would like to invite you to join with us for an hour of remembrance that we are calling "Robert Huffman: Celebration of His Life." It will take place at Portland State University, Lincoln Hall, on Monday, June 13, 2016, 7 to 8 p.m., with a lobby reception following.

We know that many people will want to attend this Celebration. We are using the web resource Eventbrite to help in our planning. To RSVP please follow the Eventbrite link posted under "tickets".

As hosts for the celebration of Robert Huffman's life, we welcome everyone to share with us a one-sentence tribute comment about him. All such tributes, if they are submitted before June 1st, will be entered into an official guest book, which we will place in the lobby for signing at the event on June 13. Please submit your tributes to RSVP@theportlandballet.org.

MEMORIAL GIFTS TO ROBERT'S SHOE BOX
Before he passed, Robert envisioned creating a fund that would help TPB students to satisfy their endless need for dance shoes. Originally funded through the sales profits from his two CDs ("Robert Huffman Music for Ballet Class," Volumes I and II), Robert's Shoe Box © serves as a memorial in perpetuity to Robert Huffman's devotion to the enrichment of children's lives. For further information and to contribute a memorial gift, you can visit the TPB website, theportlandballet.org.
