Born and raised in Washington, D.C., Alexis has lived in Chicago for over a decade and is proud to call the city her home. Between PR activities in Chicago’s vibrant food scene and enjoying the cultural events and music festivals the city is renowned for, Alexis always has her pulse on the happenings around Chicago. Her love of food and her passion to share that love with others led her to a career in hospitality public relations. She also served as Editor in Chief of the longstanding blog Bitches Who Brunch, where she wrote about all things brunch and travel, and has since contributed to many other publications including Thrillist, Buzzfeed and The Cut. If not hosting friends for dinner, you can find her Instagramming whatever tasting menu or taco truck she has recently discovered.
