A Massachusetts native, Katy Kostakis is a freelance journalist and writer who is always eager to experience everything the Boston area has to offer and makes sure to tell everyone about it-whether it’s what to see, do, eat, drink or buy. Trust that she will almost never turn down a visit to the Museum of Fine Arts, a Mexican meal, Brigham’s Mocha Almond ice cream, a Mojito, or fried clams from her favorite seafood joint in Ipswich. An avid home cook, her other passions include film, art, Renaissance and Medieval history, cosmetics, reading, tarot and astrology.
A graduate of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University, she has written for Turner Classic Movies, Paste Magazine, Well + Good, YourTango, Film Inquiry, Gannett, and previously penned EAT MASS, a weekly food and restaurant column for Patch.
