Sonra sanat yapmamın benim için iyi olacak bir yolculuğun başlangıcı olacağını hissettim ve birdenbire “İşte benim rol modelim bu!” diyerek beni etkileyen o kocaman adamın peşinden gitmeye karar verdim. Reliability was probably the last thing Guy Ritchie had in mind for his filmmaking future when he unleashed his Tarantino-riffing breakthrough Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels on the world. Yet 26 years on, his cheerfully amusing new wartime spy yarn is exactly that: a sturdy piece of entertainment that he and super-producer Jerry Bruckheimer have made with the ethos that sometimes it’s better to entertain than to shock.  If that early insolence has mellowed, the old Ritchie blueprint endures in The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare: charismatic lads having a laugh, blowing stuff up and nonchalantly dismissing calamities as ‘a spot of bother’.  The film’s wayward hero is real-life World War II spy Gus March-Phillips (Henry Cavill), who’s hired by Freddie Fox’s naval officer Ian Fleming (yes, that one). Fleming’s in his pre-James Bond phase here, working for an intelligence chief named – care to guess? – ‘M’ (Cary Elwes), on the orders of Winston Churchill (Rory Kinnear). Gus and his maverick mates (Alan Ritchson, Henry Golding, Alex Pettyfer) are assigned to an apparently impossible task: destroy a German U-boat that’s sitting ominously off a Spanish island. Months after the opening of its big sister, Bread Street Kitchen, the more casual Street Pizza restaurant founded by the acclaimed British chef will kick off operations this week.  Hoisting a “pizza without rules” concept, Gordon Ramsay Street Pizza in Bangkok, like other branches around the world, upends the traditional Italian conventions surrounding pizza by loading sourdough crust with creative toppings. The introduction menu features eight choices, with the Londoner Pizza (mozzarella, salami, and burrata, B590) and Corn & Chorizo (sweet corn with Spanish chorizo and chicken, B450) as the main highlights. Sides include Gordon Fried Chicken and fried chicken topped with a “hotter-than-hell” sauce, which, we recommend, you follow up with a sip of lemonade (B220 to B1290). While Street Pizza is known for its bottomless concept, the Bangkok branch will be the second to not follow this all-you-can-eat pizza concept–it’s à la carte only.

The batshit fever dream that Kristen Stewart’s fans have been waiting for, Love Lies Bleeding also happens to be the best B-movie of the year. Too early for such lofty claims? Consider the evidence: a single montage includes Ed Harris’s mulleted mobster petting horned beetles, bodybuilder Katy O’Brian pumping iron in Richard Simmons shorts and a tank top adorned with the words ‘Burning Love’, and Stewart’s lost moll reading a paperback called ‘Macho Sluts’.  By now you’ll probably know whether this retro-noir fantasia is for you – and Love Lies Bleeding is definitely a matter of taste. Director Rose Glass doesn’t quite match the standards she set with her 2019 debut, the exceptional spiritual horror Saint Maud. But she once again infuses a hothouse atmosphere with wickedly unsparing insight – and just a touch more humour – to turn genre tropes inside out. Glass and co-writer Weronika Tofilska perfectly tailor their operatically pulpy romance to Stewart’s talents. We’re introduced to her lonely Lou while she’s cleaning a clogged toilet inside the grimy gym owned by her dad, Lou Sr (Harris, terrifically sleazy). Their particular corner of 1989 New Mexico isn’t much prettier on the outside, either. But her austere existence turns Technicolor when enigmatic drifter Jackie (The Mandalorian’s O’Brian, perfectly cast) walks through the door. Jackie is training for a competition in Vegas, and when she punches a meathead who won’t stop hitting on her, Lou is instantly smitten.  It’s t

Louis Vuitton has launched its all-new immersive experience in Bangkok, and it’s not to be missed.  “Visionary Journeys” is applause-worthy for presenting 150 years worth of Louis Vuitton creativity in a fun, stunning, and immersive experience. Best of all, access is free! Designed by award-winning architect firm OMA, led by Shohei Shigematsu, the exhibit comprises four parts:  Trunkscape, Origins, Icons, and Collaborations. Upon entering, Trunkscape greets you with a jaw-dropping tunnel-slash-time portal that features 96 vintage Louis Vuitton trunks surrounded by digital screens playing moving images. This steers you into Origins, a room showcasing rare vintage trunks from the Paris archive. The room also reveals how these prized trunks have evolved over the years and have given inspiration to succeeding LV products.   Icons, the next zone, presents the notable visionaries, such Nicholas Ghesquiere and Pharrell Williams, who have been behind the brand’s most iconic bags,  all presented in “bubbles” to symbolize a “bubble of creativity”. Collaborations reveals LV’s efforts to fly above the game through continuous collaborations with artists and labels such as Yayoi Kusama, Steven Sprouse, and Supreme, all presented in a 360-degree digital screen.  The show concludes in a room lit up by multi-hued panels inspired by the colors seen on booths at the famed Rod Fai Market Ratchada. Goethe-Institut'un düzenlediği ‘Kino 2024: Alman Filmleri Türkiye'de’ etkinliğinde, son bir yıl içerisinde festivallerde dikkat çeken ve ödüller kazanan başarılı Alman yapımları izleyiciyle buluşuyor. Carl Orff tarafından 1936 yılında bestelenen ve ilk kez 8 Haziran 1937'de Frankfurt Operası'nda sahnelenen ‘Carmina Bruna’ yepyeni koreografisi ve rejisiyle 27 Nisan’da Atatürk Kültür Merkezi’nin Türk Telekom Opera Salonu’nda prömiyerini gerçekleştirdi. 250 kişilik dev bir kadroya sahip olan eser, sahnelendiği salonun tüm teknik imkanlarını kullanmasıyla dikkat çekiyor. Bu görsel şovun rejisi Devlet Opera ve Balesi Genel Müdür Yardımcısı Volkan Ersoy ve İstanbul Devlet Opera ve Balesi Bale Başkoreografı Ayşem Sunal Savaşkurt’a air. Sahnede solistlere ve orkestraya, bale sanatçıları, çocuk korosu ve Modern Dans İstanbul sanatçıları da eşlik ediyor. AKM Türk Telekom Opera Salonu’nda 29 Nisan'da saat 20.00'de tekrar sahnelenecek olan eser 1-14 Haziran tarihlerinde gerçekleştirilecek 15. İstanbul, 29 Nisan Dünya Dans Günü’nü yepyeni bir festivalle kutlayacak. İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi Kültür Dairesi Başkanlığı (İBB Kültür) tarafından, projeSahne iş birliğiyle ilk kez düzenlenen Uluslararası İstanbul Dans Günleri, dünya çapında dansçıların gösterilerini şehrin farklı mekanlarında İstanbullularla buluşturacak. Bir hafta boyunca flamenkodan sokak dansına, baleden sirtakiye farklı dans türlerinin önemli temsilcilerini İstanbul’da ağırlayacak olan festivalin etkinlikleri, Müze Gazhane, Cemal Reşit Rey Konser Salonu, Artİstanbul Feshane, Baruthane, Metrohan, Beyoğlu Sineması’nda ve Çubuklu Silolar’da gerçekleşecek. Four Seasons Hotel Bosphorus, bu yıl kaçırılmaması gereken gastronomik bir programa ev sahipliği yapıyor. เมื่อเช้านี้ (3 เม.ย. 2567) มิชลิน ประเทศไทย ประกาศเปิดตัวจังหวัดใหม่ที่จะถูกรวมเข้ามาอยู่ใน Michelin Guide Thailand 2025 ที่จะเปิดตัวในช่วงปลายปีนี้ นั่นคือ ชลบุรี หัวเมืองของอร่อยภาคตะวันออกที่กลายเป็นพิกัดหลักถัดจาก กรุงเทพฯ, ภูเก็ต-พังงา, เชียงใหม่, อยุธยา, ภาคอีสาน 4 จังหวัด และ เกาะสมุย-สุราษฎร์ธานี แน่นอนว่าทำเอาฟู้ดดี้ และชาวชลบุรี ตื่นเต้นกันไปเรียบร้อย แต่สำหรับคนที่ไม่ได้อยู่ในวงการอาหารและท่องเที่ยว อาจจะตั้งคำถามกันอยู่ในใจ ว่าทำไมต้องมีการเพิ่มจังหวัดใหม่ล่ะ? ไม่ได้พิจารณารวมทั้งประเทศอยู่แล้วหรอ? และการเพิ่มจังหวัดใหม่นี้มีความหมายอย่างไรสำหรับเขา?  จะทำความเข้าใจเรื่องนี้ต้องย้อนกลับไปทำความเข้าใจการคัดสรรและให้รางวัลร้านอาหารของมิชลินไกด์กันก่อน ร้านอาหารทั้งหมดใน Michelin Guide ไม่ว่าเอดิชันไหน เกิดขึ้นโดยทีมผู้ตรวจสอบ (inspector) ที่เป็น ‘พนักงานประจำ’ ของมิชลิน ซึ่งจะต้องเดินทางไปชิมร้านอาหารต่างๆ จริงๆ เพื่อประเมินแต่ละร้านใน 5 หัวข้อ คือ (1) คุณภาพของวัตถุดิบที่ใช้ (2) ความโดดเด่นของรสชาติและเทคนิคการทำอาหาร (3) เอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัวของเชฟที่สะท้อนออกมาในอาหารและประสบการณ์ในมื้อนั้น (4) ความคุ้มค่าสมราคา และ (5) ความสม่ำเสมอ – ซึ่งข้อสุดท้ายนี้หมายถึง inspector จะต้องชิมอาหารร้านเดิมมากกว่า 1 ครั้ง ง่ายๆ คือ ร้านจะมากแค่ไหน จะพื้นที่จใหญ่แค่ไหน ก็ต้องเป็นทีม inspector นี่แหละที่ไป ดังนั้นการเปิดตัว Michelin Guide แต่ละเอดิชันจึงมักจะมีการระบุขอบเขตพื้นที่ไว้เสมอ เพื่อความเป็นไปได้จริงในการปฏิบัติการในช่วงแรก เช่น ถ้าจำกันได้ ตอนที่มิชลินเปิดตัวครั้งแรกในไทยเมื่อปี 2018 นั้นมาในชื่อ Michelin Guide Bangkok ผู้ตรวจสอบก็จะโฟกัสกับการคัดสรรเฉพาะร้านในเขตเมืองหลวง
