A gorgeous new building recently became a part of Haifa's stunning urban landscape - the Schumacher Hotel in the heart of the German Colony, in a preserved and reconstructed Templer building. The boutique hospitality experience offered is peaceful and pampering, all a short walk from the city center and its attractions  Long ago, Haifa shook its sleepy image and is now known as a cosmopolitan city attracting both locals and foreign tourists. They keep on coming to enjoy the numerous interesting cultural attractions, the beautiful beaches and the bubbling nightlife – all great reasons for the opening of a new hotel in the city. The Schumacher Hotel, which opened less than a year ago at the hands of entrepreneur and owner David Be'eri, stands in the midst of Haifa's beautiful German Colony. Part of the hotel is still the original building dating back to the 1930s and belonging to the Schumacher family, members of the German Templers who settled in the city. Adjoining the old stone building, which has been preserved and rebuilt, is a six-story modern structure that creates an elegant and natural connection between old and new.  The Schumacher Hotel @ Itai Sikolsky The unique atmosphere of the hotel and the neighborhood can already be felt at the entrance, which passes through an expanse of well-kept garden with places to sit, leading to the lovely design of the lobby area, dotted with works of art that are contemporary, colorful, original and local.
