Reset Bar

Reset Bar

3 out of 5 stars

Finding the Reset Bar is not exactly an easy affair. Nestled between Chatelet and Etienne Marcel, this gaming bar straddles rue de Cygne and rue Mondétour. Its neon lights and big red logo instantly plunge you into the 90s, which as you will understand on arrival, is exactly what its all about. Inside, customers can get back to their roots playing old school consoles with individual gaming docks. You'll find all the classics such as Atari, Neo-Geo, Super Nintendo, Mega Drive and Playstation. Reaffirm your love for Mario Kart and Fighter King or discover the more unusual games like Japanese table tennis played in bikinis. Before you get too competitive, get a glass. Coke at €4, a pint at €7.50, cocktails at €8, such as the Lemon Pac-Man: lemon, pineapple, caramel, brown sugar, white wine, gin and Captain Morgan. Grab a generous plate of saucisson for €10. We recommend ditching the cocktails for a good beer and heading downstairs to the basement. This is where Reset Bar gets it right. Recreating all those memories of you and your mates destroying enemy spaceships - controls on your knees. You don’t have to just be in the retro stuff to enjoy it here, they’ve got all the more recent stuff too – Xbox £360, Xbox One, and Playstation 4 for games of Fifa 17, Guitar Hero or Street Fighter 5. Cue thumb cramp.
