Yosawin Koyama, better known as ‘Hi-de’, is a writer who delves into the depths of his own mind every day. His personal journal is a compelling fusion of Nietzschean and Jungian philosophy, interwoven with raw, unfiltered introspection.

When he’s not writing, you’ll likely find him exploring Bangkok’s thrift shops in search of the elusive perfect garment – fully aware it may never exist. There’s also a good chance he’s binge-listening to Siamese Dream. While his vinyl collection spans nearly every genre, rap remains the one exception (for reasons even he can’t quite explain).

On good days, you might spot Hi-de relaxing in a quiet public park or discovering a hidden izakaya to unwind. He lives by Viktor E. Frankl’s words: ‘Those who have a ‘why’ to live can bear with almost any ‘how,’’ a philosophy that infuses his life and work with a profound sense of purpose.
