Black Lives Matter Sacramento is hosting our first open meeting for Black Sacramento

We are in a state of emergency and we need to come together and build/plan and become united in the face of the local problems our city is facing

The number of Black folks being killed by law enforcement is only getting larger.

Our elected city and county government refuses to treat this with urgency.

Our new president is passing laws and encouraging laws passed at the state and local level, to make law enforcement killing validation solidified.

Our neighborhoods are being stolen from us and sold to developers and real estate agents, making rent impossible.

Families of victims on violence within the community are being treated like criminals.

Families of victims killed by the police are being treated like criminals.
