Karma Seeds Service Project: River Clean Up says
The Yoga Seed Collective is a part of the American River Parkway Foundation's Mile Stewards Program. This means our community will be spending at least 20 hours every quarter cleaning up the American River Parkway at Sailor Bar--the last bit of "natural" spawning habitat available to our American river salmon!

Karma, or selfless service is a powerful component of the yoga practice. Bringing the freedom and compassion found in the studio out into the world puts the practice into action. Join us for fun, community, and service!

Sunday, May 17, we will meet at Sailor Bar (Illinois Avenue Entrance) in the parking lot next to the boat launch at 1pm. Bring water, snacks, sunscreen, and wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting a little dirty. Expect to spend about 2 hours cleaning up. We will provide parking passes, gloves, and garbage bags.

A Yoga Seed Collective volunteer will be stationed by the entrance kiosk from 12:45-1:15pm with parking passes

Sponsored by Tibet House.
