Cuzick is both a fine and graphic artist who uses his painting, drawing, and photography skills alongside his animation training and digital manipulation to create seamless vignettes which capture "key frames" in larger narratives. The key frames give the viewer a good sense of where the action has been as well as where it is going. The narrative is implied without being rigid, challenging the viewer to continue to interpret the story on his or her own. David B. Cuzick may be best known as the founder and chief artist of Circles and Squares, a company that's used primarily silkscreen as a medium to translate his dreamlike stories of childhood into images that have become emblematic on an international level.
