The event creator says
Are you worried about Quadbuster and Evil Twins? Then this ride is for YOU!!!.

Threat #1: Starting from Mission Bay, we'll head north and climb Mt. Soledad where we will stop some photos. We'll descend into La Jolla and head east through La Jolla, Torrey Pines, Nobel and Miramar.

Threat #2: Crossing over I-15 Miramar Road becomes Pomerado Road where we will continue climbing toward the east. We'll then turn back west on Scripps Poway Pkwy to the 56 bike path back to the coast.

Threat #3: Heading south along the coast we will encounter the Torrey Pines hill. Beware of false summits, as climbing continues around each twist and turn of the road! Slow and steady gets you to the top!

Overall mileage is moderate today, but there are three BIG hills and the route will become more difficult as you grow tired. Enjoy the downhills and flats between each of our climbs to maximize the fun and rest periods!
