San Diego Pain Summit says
This workshop is part of the 2017 Summit, this class can be taken with or without the 2 day Summit presentations.

Instructors: Bronne Thompson & Alison Sim

This workshop is designed to stimulate an inter-professional approach to persistent pain and disability.

Participants should have a basic understanding of persistent pain and the difference between acute and chronic pain and be aware of factors contributing to disability associated with pain.

An active, experiential approach is used throughout the workshop as participants develop a management plan based on a case study.

The workshop will suit those clinicians working with clients experiencing “sub-acute” pain, as well as persistent pain, and clinicians from a range of professional backgrounds.

Participants will be provided with a workbook, and a copy of the slides for their personal use following the workshop. All participants will be asked to complete pre- and post-workshop questionnaire.
