Jeff Lee, from Autodesk, will present on the latest trends in CAD. Jeff will also provide a webinar for digital fabrication using Autodesk Fusion 360, Autodesk’s newest integrated product design tool. Today’s engineers are makers. Join the ‘Future of Making Things’ and learn how to quickly translate your design imagination to physical reality. No drawings needed!

Who should attend: Anyone interested in prototyping and design could come to this first session. Also Mechanical, Aerospace, Biomedical Engineers & Industrial Designers.

Download: Prior to the workshop, please download, install and log into Fusion 360 on your 64 bit Mac or PC laptop (free for students). Fusion can be downloaded here.

Bring: Be sure to bring your laptop fully charged and loaded with Fusion 360. Also be sure to bring your favorite mouse. (these programs do not work well with just the track pad on your laptop)

Jeff received his BSAE from the Georgia Institute of Technology and his MSME from the University of California, Berkeley. Jeff has worked on topics such as new product design, sustainable design, and vehicle design. Jeff is passionate about getting the latest technology into the hands of design & engineering students, as well as maker movement advocates, so they can enhance their digital design abilities and improve their career opportunities. He will provide a webinar for digital fabrication using Autodesk Fusion 360, Autodesk’s newest integrated product design tool.
