Finest City Improv says
Every week, we invite a notable San Diego personality, business owner - or someone we just want to know more about - to tell their stories. Instead of just acting out what is heard, this FCI house team uses these stories as inspiration to go crazy hilarious places. It's getting to know you, mixed with "I never should have asked!"

When not working for The Man by day, Dan Steinman is a musical jack of all trades. A steady diet of Beatles and video game music led him to pick up the guitar in high school, which led to 8 other instruments, give or take. He now sings with the San Diego Master Chorale and has shared the stage with the San Diego Symphony Orchestra.

After a friend got him into improv comedy, he was quickly recruited as a musical accompanist for the improv clown troupe Look At What We Found. It's the oddest gig he's ever had, and that includes the time he sang Super Mario music in a choir while wearing a monk robe. Dan's favorite thing ever is music in unexpected places, and he indulges his wandering troubadour fantasy by singing obscure Renaissance songs wherever there is a good acoustic.

Dan also has a birthday the next day, so come out and help him celebrate!
