Media Arts Center San Diego says
The Teen Producers at the Media Arts Center San Diego are excited to present their most recent films to the community at the Digital Gym cinema on December 19th, 2015. Come out to join us for this very special presentation of youth produced films that will cover topics that include water conservation, the vlaue of STEM programs for San Diego youth, problem gambling, the development of Chicano park, and more! Don't miss a great opportunity to share this proud moment with some of San Diego's most talented young filmmakers!

This screening is FREE to attend, however donations are gladly accepted at the door. All money raised from this event will go to support our youth scholarship fund with provides scholarships for students who can't afford the cost of the class.

This films to be screened, include:

Adv TPP:
1. Trick or Treat: gambling Prevention PSA - group of students learn that gambling is a trick not a treat
2. Don't Break Both Legs: gambling treatment PSA - a man learns that gambling debts have consequences and those consequences have consequences.
3. Sleep with the Fishes: water conservation PSA
4. Wateropoly: The stakes are high when you play with water

Intro TPP:
5. Clowning around with the Fern Street Circus: see what this local organization is doing to promote play and healthy active lifestyles for young people in City Heights.
6. Building Success for the Future: The FACES for the Future program is working with young people from Hoover High to engage them in activities that promote skill building and building a pathway to college
7. Playing with STEAM: Students at the Elementary Institute of Science take after school classes in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math - equipping them with tools for their future.

Interns:
8. Something From Nothing: Amazing things happen when a community comes together to reclaim a once forgotten and abandoned piece of land.
9. Chicano Park: a community investment: Chicano park has a long standing history in San Diego, but in order to keep it in good shape, funds need to be allocated to it's preservation.
