Women's Museum of California says
If human beings are naturally violent and war is inevitable, then why have military organizations throughout history had to expend such vast resources to brainwash soldiers in order to get them to kill and why does killing make humans mentally ill? The film “Why War Is Not Inevitable” captures Paul Chappell’s view of war and peace during a conversation at the East Side Unitarian Church.

Join us as we discuss alternatives to war and the militarism of our society…from our schools to our police to our civic centers. How can we resist war and build peace in San Diego?

A West Point graduate and Iraq War veteran, Paul K. Chappell has first-hand knowledge of war. He is currently the Peace Leadership Director at the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation (www.wagingpeace.org). This film is a production of Pirate TV.
