Master the basics of whole-food, organic cooking while learning new culinary techniques and styles. In this class, we will explore how to cook with whole grains. You will be given information about various types of grains, how they are grown, nutrition information, how they are processed for human consumption, as well as traditional and modern preparation techniques. After understanding the journey from nature to the point of purchase, we take the food to the table by preparing three recipes:

- Millet Patties with Fresh Corn Salsa
- Red Bean and Quinoa Chili
- Brown Rice Coconut Cardamom Mango Pudding

* All recipes for this class are vegan and gluten-free

All ingredients and materials are included in the class fees. Attendees will receive generous samples and printed recipes to take home. Classes are $40 each, with discounts available for seniors, military and students.
