We are very excited to announce we have special guest DJ Miles Maeda / Total M for our Libertine 1 year anniversary on Thursday March 30th. We are also very excited to have Vaughn Avakian join us so with these two special guest djs we can showcase the music the way we intended it for our first anniversary. Special thanks goes out to my partner DJ 1979 Lopez J. Christopher who has played great music and brought unique special guests that have made our night unique and a lot of fun.

I came up with the Libertine concept as a way to do an open format music night so we could be free to play many styles of music. I also wanted it to have a darker, gothic vibe but without being a standard goth night. This is why I use darker imagery in the promotion material. The reality is we really have an open music format so you never know what to expect: sometimes you will hear funk, breaks, industrial (a little), classic electro, sometimes house and tech house, techno, soul, Latin, classic hip-hop, dub, 80s, indie, popular music – even a little drum & bass on occasion. Chris and I have been having a lot of fun with it and we appreciate those of you you have made an effort to come out on a Thursday night. It hasn't been easy and we've had a lot of slow nights but we've also has a lot of busy nights. Special thanks goes out to our guest promoters and djs (I will list and tag everybody later) and Gary John, Josh Taylor, Zachary Read, Dakota Brian, Jeff Ladman and the rest of the staff at AC Lounge who are some of the nicest people I've worked with in over 20 years of doing clubs and events.

We hope you will come out to help us celebrate and we hope you will help us keep this going. We are charging a small $5 cover to help pay for the talent on this night. It will be free before 10pm and I'll have a guest list for those who would rather just contribute at the bar so PM me to be on the list if you can't make it by 10pm). We want you there, that's more important than money so just show up and we'll work it out. See you on March 30th!
