Join award-winning composer and master Oud player Yuval Ron, Poetry artist and Farsi translator Ari Honarvar and myself for an enchanting journey with the poetry of Rumi.

Listen, breathe and feel Rumi's words transport you to a mystical place in Farsi and English, through the magical voice of Ari, the haunting soul sounds of Yuval's Oud and the cosmic sound and vibrations of the Music of the Spheres and sounding instruments in the Japanese Friendship Gardens, Inamori Pavilion.

A wonderful opportunity to embrace the outdoor and inner beauty of the Japanese Friendship garden, the spirit of Rumi and the union of an Israelite, Iranian and an American as we join the garden in the pursuit of world harmony.

You receive admission to the stunning beauty of the Japanese Friendship Garden, the sounds of a Master Oud Player, an Iranian expressing the words of the master Rumi in Farsi and English and the celestial sounds/vibrations of Wind gongs and sounding instruments...

Iranian-born Ari, sharing the spirit of her soul and heritage with the poems or Rumi.
Israeli-born Yuval, his OUD, its message of love, peace and soulful harmony.
The primordial sounds and vibrations of the universe with seven Chinese Feng (wind) Gongs and sounding instruments.

"Life on Fire" with Rumi's poems, the music of the OUD, gongs, and sounding instruments; 3-4:30 pm
An intermission to meet us and explore artistically, published and musical recorder offerings. 4:30-6pm
A waxing crescent moon, the beauty of the garden in lights and a one hour, gong immersion from 6 to 7 pm with the Music of the Spheres.

Seating is offered as well as space for those who want to bring mats, blankets, pillows and comfortable settings to lay or sit on the floor.
