Make a day of it!
At 11:00am, join the Resource Conservation District for a talk by Neal Biggart, a retired biologist who is also a Master Gardener. Neal will present on soil and the effect of composting. On-site soil testing will measure the Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC), which is a measure of available nutrients at the pH of the soil. This is a good overall measure of fertility, and it has a great deal to do with the effect of compost on soil.

After the talk, head on over to Suzie's Farm for their CSA Spring Potluck from 12-4pm!
