Mcasd Downtown: Downtown At Sundown says
"Part open house and part happy hour, Downtown at Sundown is your ticket to an evening of all-access culture."
– Karla Peterson, The San Diego Union-Tribune

On the third Thursday of every month, join us for Downtown at Sundown, which includes free Museum admission, exhibition tours, DJ-spun tunes, and more!

Exhibitions on view during this month's event are Dimensions of Black: A Collaboration with the San Diego African American Museum of Fine Art; Jennifer Steinkamp: Madame Curie; and Tristano di Robilant. Exhbition tours will take place at 5:30 and 6:45 PM.

Also, enjoy free entry at the nearby SDSU Downtown Gallery and the opening reception for Every Which Way, beginning at 5:30 PM. Meet the artists and mingle as you explore works created by students and faculty from the SDSU School of Art + Design interpreting the theme of "movement." DJ Mike Turi will spin a curated set as visitors make their own custom screen prints for a crowdsourced pop-up exhibition with imagery created by SDSU graphic design students.

Enjoy drink specials at Stone Brewing Company Store and The Flight Path Wine Bar & Bistro, both adjacent to MCASD Downtown.
