IEEE UC San Diego Branch says
Back by popular demand, UCSD IEEE is proud to present another MCU workshop for Arduino.
Date/Time: 1/16 @ 10a-2p
Location: Will be announced to those offered a seat
This workshop will introduce students to a microcontroller unit (MCU), namely the Arduino Uno. We will be working with LCD displays, servos, IR receivers, LEDs, and more. You will learn how MCUs work and how to program them to do simple automation control. This workshop will use C/C++ programming and is directed towards both beginner programmers and is a first introduction to MCUs. We will introduce the both the Arduino IDE and some simple, yet powerful, hardware components that have the potential for complex automation projects. Microcontroller experience is crucial for IEEE Projects as well as any automated project!
Due to limited capacity, not everyone will be permitted to attend the workshop. We wish we could accommodate everyone!
You will be notified by email whether you have been offered a seat in the workshop.
If you do not receive an email, this workshop will be published on the IEEE Wiki immediately following the workshop! Here you will be able to find step-by-step instructions, schematics, documentation for how to complete the Arduino workshop on your own! Email the Technical Officers for more information!
