How do we experience emotions and how does our body respond to them?
In this workshop Lina will introduce concepts of neurobiology that will help you to understand how your brain and your body influence each other, highlighting the fact that research studies suggest yoga and meditation as effective tools to balance the mind-body feedback loop. Lina received her PhD in the UK in 2009, then moved to San Diego to start her career as a neurobiologist. She works with stem cells to investigate the mechanisms of neurodegeneration in Parkinson’s disease. Her research is supported by he Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
