Neko Case With Special Guests Eric Bachmann And Jon Rauhouse says
Equally well regarded in the indie rock and Americana worlds, Case has built a career defined by both strong will and musical versatility. Many regard her chief attribute as her powerful, supple voice. Pitchfork says “Case has a moonbeam for a voice; imposing in timbre, opalescent in tone, and always surprising in its sheer force.”

Case’s multiple Grammy® nods include the 2014 nomination for “The Worst Things Get, the Harder I Fight, the Harder I Fight, the More I Love You,” for Best Alternative Music Album, and the 2010 nomination for Best Contemporary Folk Album and Best Recording Package (with Kathleen Judge). Case was honored as the Female Artist of the Year at the Plug Independent Music Awards in 2006.

Rolling Stone described the “country-rock firecracker’s” sixth album, 'The Worse Things Get, the Harder I Fight . . .” as “full of bold arrangements and hot guitars. It’s also a tour de force of intense, big-chorused songwriting. In other words, plenty more than just a big voice. But, damn: That's one knee-buckling magnificent voice.”

With Special Guests, Eric Bachmann and Jon Rauhouse
Eric Bachmann provided the voice and guitar for indie rock bands Archers Of Loaf and Crooked Fingers. He recently released a self-titled solo album. Jon Rauhouse is a pedal-steel virtuoso who has provided beautiful color to music by Neko Case, Jon Langford, Jakob Dylan and more. Together, they’ve spent the last few years getting musically and personally acquainted as part of Neko Case’s backing band, and now they’ve announced a collaborative instrumental album, titled simply Eric Bachmann Jon Rauhouse.
