Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa says
Oceana Coastal Kitchen at the Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa will celebrate California’s rich wine culture with a trio of Thursday wine dinners on February 25, March 31 and April 28. Held in Oceana’s private dining room from 6 to 9 p.m. and priced at $75 per guest, these intimate dinners will be limited to eleven guests. The table’s twelfth seat will go to a winemaker who will dine with guests and periodically engage on each wine’s unique story. Oceana’s Executive Chef Steven Riemer will create four farm-to-sea courses to complement each wine, and guests will be available to purchase bottles to take home following the dinner.
Oceana’s inaugural wine dinner on February 25 will be led by sommelier Patrick Murphy and Jessie Casanova, founder and CEO of Casa De Uvas, distributor and advocate of distinctive, family-owned wines from around the world. February’s dinner will be paired with varietals from Carr Vineyards & Winery, a boutique winery in Santa Barbara specializing in limited production Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Grenache and Syrah.
