San Diego Art Institute says
What does 1999 have to teach 2017? Be prepared. The most common response to time capsule ceremonies is disapointment. We ring in Season II of Parkeology with a question: What does this dual relationship of memorializing and disappointment say about our culture?

Park Ranger Kim Duclo will unveil a Y2K era time capsule, accompanied by the San Diego High School Drumline. Time Capsule expert Nicholas Yablon will provide insight into the affair. The evening will conclude with an open forum time capsule ceremony.

Bring:
-lawn chairs + a note describing an object or experience you believe should not exist for future generations.

Free. All ages. ADA accessible.
Ceremony begins at 6:45 sharp
