America's Finest City Dixieland Jazz Society says
WHAT: New Orleans Second Line Music, Traditional Jazz, Swing, Rockabilly, Zydeco, and Jazz Piano will be featured at the Festival, presented by America’s Finest City Dixieland Jazz Society. Highlights include:
• A Wednesday night pre-festival concert-dance, featuring San Diego’s own High Society Jazz Band and Sue Palmer and her Motel Swing Orchestra
• Town & Country Thanksgiving Buffet (Thursday afternoon) with live music
• "Swing Dance Extravaganza" (Saturday evening) with continuous music by Jonathan Stout and his Campus Five featuring Hilary Alexander and Stompy Jones, plus swing dance exhibitions by the Hang Ten Hoppers
• "Clarinet Summit" featuring Dan Levinson and other clarinetists appearing at the Festival
• The Nicki Parrott Trio, with Rossano Sportiello and Danny Coots
• The Memphis Speed Kings, performing high-energy Rockabilly Music
• Tom Rigney and Flambeau, playing Cajun, Zydeco and Blues Music
• Special sets including “Music of Louis Armstrong,” “Tin Pan Alley,” “Benny Goodman, Mel Powell and Morey Feld” and “New Orleans Revival Jazz”
• “Pianorama” featuring solo performances by Stephanie Trick, Paolo Alderighi, Carl Sonny Leyland and more
• Featured vocalists Molly Ryan and Dawn Lambeth
• New Orleans style Second Line parades with music by the Euphoria Brass Band
• Outstanding Jazz by the Yerba Buena Stompers, High Sierra Jazz Band, Chloe Feoranzo, Grand Dominion Jazz Band, 101st Army Dixieland Band, Bob Schulz’s Frisco Jazz Band, Uptown Lowdown, Titanic Jazz Band, Katie Cavera, Cornet Chop Suey, Ray Skjelbred and his Cubs and many more.
• “Sweethearts of Swing” tribute to great vocal groups of the 1940s (Sat pm)
• The Mission Bay High School Preservationists - preserving the New Orleans Jazz tradition.
• Vintage Ragtime and early Jazz by San Diego’s Heliotrope Ragtime Orchestra.
• Old Time Banjo Music by the San Diego Banjo Band
• Local groups including Dixie Express, Uptown Rhythm Makers, South Bay Jazz Ramblers, and Paragon Band Quartet.
• “JazzSea Jams” --organized jam sessions led by cornetist Dick Williams.
• Dance Lessons, with instructors Hal and Georgia Myers
• Sunday Morning “Hymn-a-Long” featuring the Night Blooming Jazzmen
• “Wrap-up Jam Session" featuring the Nicki Parrott Trio, Dave Bennett, Chloe Feoranzo, Katie Cavera, Dan Levinson and others

All—except the Thanksgiving Buffet—are included in the price of a five-day, all-events badge ($110). Daily Badges—Wednesday 7-11pm ($20), Thursday 6-11pm ($25), Friday 10am-11pm ($50; $30 after 6pm), Saturday 9am - midnight ($50; $30 after 6pm), Sunday 8am-6pm ($30) Multi-day and Under-30 Badges are also available. 12 & under are free when accompanied by an adult.
