San Diego Mother's Bay Run 2017 says
Last year, 400 of you spent your Mother's Day running, walking, and playing with us in the sunshine at De Anza Cove in Mission Bay.

Together, we raised awareness for the homeless and women and children in San Diego and raised money for the San Diego Rescue Mission (SDRM).

This year, we have changed names - the San Diego Mother's BAY Run will still be the same great event for the same great organization, but being on a Saturday will open up involvement for more of the Rescue Mission's supporters who cannot come on a Sunday and allow more runners and sponsors to participate without worrying about conflicting Mother's Day plans!

The run will be on Sunday, April 29, 2017, at De Anza Cove:
3000 N Mission Bay Dr, San Diego, CA 92109

The website will go live at https://www.sdmothersbayrun.com on January 1st! Early bird pricing (until April 1st) is as follows:

Adult 10K: $40
Adult 5K: $35
Military 10K: $35
Military 5K: $30
Youth (under 15) 10K: $35
Youth (under 15) 5K: $30

Springtime in San Diego is a great time to support the San Diego Rescue Mission as it continues to support homeless men, women, and children, and provide and expand services for women with young children. You can visit www.sdrescue.org to learn more, including watching a video about their Children's Center, a wonderful new pre-school which allows mothers an opportunity to pursue schooling and job training while their children learn what they need to start school.

If you cannot make it to our run, you can still help. Ask your place of work and the businesses around you if they would be interested in sponsoring us. Find us on Facebook (The Rotary Club of Mission Valley Sunset), Twitter (@MVSunsetRotary), or Instagram (@MVSunsetRotary), and share and tag us (#SDMothersBayRun and #SDRescue) as much as you can!
