Dare you brave the curse of the mummy's tomb? Join the San Diego Costume Guild as we embark on An Egyptian Expedition to explore the mystery and grandeur of King Tut! SDCG is looking for courageous adventurers, intrepid archaeologists, and audacious steampunks to explore the San Diego Natural History Museum's exhibition: The Discovery of King Tut (@[NjQyMTgzOTU5MjA4MTA3Omh0dHBcYS8vd3d3LnNkbmhtLm9yZy9raW5ndHV0Lzo6:http://www.sdnhm.org/kingtut/]).
Come as a British Explorer, Airship Captain, Saharan Tomb Raider, or Egyptian Femme Fatale!
The expedition will meet for a picnic lunch at 12:00pm in the Plaza de Balboa, and proceed to the back steps of the Natural History Museum (the original entrance of the Museum, facing the Bea Evanson fountain in the plaza) for a group photo at 1 pm. Afterwards, we will proceed into theNat for a 2pm timed-entry into “The Discovery of King Tut” Exhibit.
Purchasing advanced tickets is encouraged due to the popularity of the exhibit. Ticket prices for The Discovery of King Tut exhibition vary: $27.00 for adults; $15.00 for those with Museum membership; and $18.00 for those with Passholder tickets.
