Solo exhibition featuring new works by Nonie Cruzado.

“These recent works are like taking my first step on this new soil (U.S.), first words for a long speech in a way. It’s the beginning of an evolving process. My works are usually based on my current experiences involving the people and life events that affected me. The show is titled “Soul Seed” because I believe all beings are like seeds with each seed growing into a tree of the universe. Although the heart of a man may be moved away from its homeland, the man may build his home wherever he may stay.” - Nonie Cruzado

Nonie Cruzado was born in the Philippines. He studied at the University of Santo Tomas and attended the College of Fine Arts and Design where he majored in painting. Using primarily oil, acrylic, and ink and inspired by his observations of humanity, Cruzado channels his life experiences and personal values through hidden meaning and symbolism in his artwork.

Nonie lives and works in San Diego, CA.
