Starting in Carmel Valley, riding past the horse fields in Fairbanks Ranch and the Race Track in Del Mar we will make our way to the coast for a nice ride up the 101 into Carlsbad for lunch before making our way back. This ride approximately 43 miles with moderate climbing.

(Parking note: There is a parking lot at the base of the hill just as you turn right onto Townsgate Drive. We meet in the the second parking lot where the recreation center is.
