The event creator says
Get ready for an out-of-the box philanthropic fashion experience like you've never seen with local businesswomen ripping the runway in support of women veterans!!!

Army veteran, stylist and fashion entrepreneur Toni Brooks’ “shop beCAUSE” campaign has partnered with upscale fashion retailer ECCOCI to produce The HUNTER- a one-of-a-kind fashion production aimed at raising awareness for both the women veteran community and survivors of domestic violence.

**The event will take place on Apr. 18 at the U.S. Grant Hotel in San Diego from 11:30-2:30 pm.**

“shop beCAUSE” is the charity arm of bRloft, Brooks’ exclusive elevated boutique with locations in Los Angeles, Chicago and New York. Every fashion season, the company names two cause areas in which to provide outreach and advocacy support through donations, events and awareness campaigns.

Proceeds from the event will go toward costs to ship the more than $100,000 worth of business apparel donated to Brooks’ campaign by ECCOCI to women veterans in need of appropriate work attire nationwide, as well as support several organizations supporting survivors of domestic violence.

The HUNTER will provide local businesswomen the opportunity to become M.U.S.E.s (Models Using Service to Empower) and rip the runway for a cause, with participants pledging to model in either (or both) the live look book or on the runway, donned in ECCOCI, to show their support.

MUSEs will undergo a complete transformation, working with make-up and hair sponsors, being styled personally by Brooks, and attending runway coaching and training at M.U.S.E. Boot Camp, instructed by professional model and Marine Corps veteran Jovane Marie.

The dates for several pre-event soirees recognizing sponsors and raising awareness for the main event will be announced in the coming weeks.
