Thoughtful Parenting; Unplugging Our Kids says
March 1 Unplugging Our Kids (Kate Recore, BA)
Are your kids spending too much time in front of a computer, iPad, or phone? How much is too much? Kate Recore reveals the real health concerns about too much screen time, and shares her personal strategies for keeping a healthy balance of technology in her home. She also explains the benefits of online learning, and why we shouldn't push devices out of the classroom. A discussion will follow, allowing everyone to share their strategies and ideas for balancing their children's--and their own--cyber lives.

Kate Recore is mother to a tech-savvy fifth-grader, and fights the twenty-first-century battle to keep her son in this world, rather than in cyberspace. She teaches reading and writing to elementary students, and is an award-winning public speaker who covers a wide variety of subjects for audiences of all ages.

The classes are free, but each session is limited to 30 participants; please register by calling 858-538-8159 or messaging us on Facebook
